LOCATION: Play is based in NYC but all positions are flexible / remote. EST time zone preferred, but not mandatory.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
— Become an expert and advocate of Play and continuously expand your knowledge of the Play product as new features are released
— Communicate with our users to get feedback, create relationships and continue to build our community
— Deliver exceptional customer service to our users by providing product support and answering any questions our community of users have
— Lead live educational sessions and product demos through webinars
— Create educational and support content (including articles and videos) and keep our support platforms up to date
— Monitor & review usage data to identify trends and areas of focus that can be relayed back to our product team
— Implement new tools and processes for how we get and keep track of feedback and feature requests from users
— Work with other members of our team to plan and assist with new product releases
— Keep a pulse on the product design / design tool space by staying up to speed with industry trends, new tools and what product teams are excited about
— Help manage our channels including Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram
SKILLS YOU HAVE
— Experience in a product specialist and/or customer support role
— Experience, knowledge and interest in the design tool space
— Experience with building and growing user communities (ideally in the design tool space)
— Experience with tools and platforms like Discord and Zendesk (or similar)
— Excellent verbal and written communication skills
— Experience in customer service and/or sales is a plus
— An understanding of what it means to be a good teammate—and the ability to put that understanding into practice

Play was founded by four partners: JoonYong Park, Michael Ferdman, Eric Eng and Dan LaCivita, who all come from different backgrounds and disciplines. We all worked together for over 15 years at design and technology agency, Firstborn, which was founded by Michael in 1997. After creating hundreds of digital experiences for clients, we shifted our focus to rethinking how teams could design and build digital products, in search of a better way.
